Precaution to be observed:
1. Wear proper PPE.
2. Make sure pump is in switch off position from local and remote
location.

Centrifugal Pump: This pump
mostly used onboard ship in sea water system.
2.
Reciprocating Pump: Its positive
displacement type pump which is used in Bilge system.
3.
Gear Pump: Its positive
displacement type pump which is used in L.O. system and F.O. System.
4.
Screw Pump: Its positive
displacement type pump which is used in L.O. system and F.O. System.
