take permission. Wear helmet and safety gear. Do not cross the SWL limit.
Do
not exceed SWL, check chain links.
Check
strength of beam where lifting device is secured
Check
the condition of the lifting device. All parts are properly lubricated.
Check
condition of moving parts for wear down.

heavy items in the engine room in heavy weather.
Ans:
Heavy items should not fall down on to the machinery or pipe lines or injure
personnel.

Ans: Eye bolts, Shackles, Wire slings etc.

Ans:
Hole threads are clear from any rust deposited and threads on bolts and hole, have
no damage.
